2017 Presentation Guidelines

Guidelines for Oral Presentations in the
Oklahoma Water Research Symposium

October 31 - November 1, 2017  |  Embassy Suites in Norman

We are requesting applications for presentations on a wide range of research and Extension topics addressing water issues in Oklahoma.

Application Details: To be considered for the program, submit an application online (Symposium Call Form) by noon on Monday, September 18th. You will receive an e-mail confirmation shortly after you have submitted your application that includes the information you submitted.

Applicant Qualifications: Professionals, researchers, and students are invited to present posters on any research, extension, or outreach topic related to water resources in Oklahoma.

Registration: All presenters must register for the conference.

Audience: This symposium typically draws scientists, policymakers, agency personnel, consultants, and interested citizens from many disciplines. Technical presentations should focus on research while remaining comprehensible to a general, non-expert audience.

Format: This year’s Symposium is scheduled for two days and will again feature a concurrent session format. Most presentations will be 20 minutes in length (15 min. slides & 5 min. Q&A).
