Dick and Malinda Berry Fischer

Dick and Malinda Berry Fischer, with the match of Mr. T. Boone Pickens and the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, established the $1 million endowed Thomas E. Berry Professorship in Water Research and Management. This endowed professorship honors her father, an innovative oil man and farmer who understood the importance of water quality and conservation.

 

Malinda Berry Fischer of Stillwater, Oklahoma, graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1960 with a bachelor's degree in education. She is currently President of Marietta Royalty Company and Chairman of Thomas N. Berry & Company.

Malinda Berry Fischer was inducted into the OSU Alumni Hall of Fame on February 17, 2012, at the ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center.
