Masters or Ph.D. Graduate Research Assistant

Dr. Justin Moss, Associate Professor at OSU in the department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture, is searching for a research assistant with a strong background in urban landscape water quality or conservation.
 
The successful applicant will be expected to:
  • Conduct literature reviews on several urban landscape water topics
  • Pick the research topic and publish a comprehensive literature review on the subject
  • Develop and conduct a pilot project
  • Publish the findings

Education Model Program on Water-Energy Research (EMPOWER)

EMPOWER is a new National Science Foundation Research Traineeship (NRT) interdisciplinary graduate training program. Graduate students in this program conduct research at the “water-energy nexus." Through an individualized professional development program, a career pathways experience, summer field experiences, and an interdisciplinary seminar, participants gain the technical knowledge and professional skills needed to address the contemporary challenges of increased demands on water and energy resources. Syracuse University is seeking applications from individuals interested in pursuing either Master’s or Doctoral study within the “water-energy nexus.” For more information about EMPOWER, please visit empower.syr.edu
