Student Water Organizations on Campus

Students at Oklahoma State University participate in a number of student organizations that are related to water. Contact information for each organization is linked in the orange title below:

American Fisheries Society
This organization is dedicated to bringing awareness of past, present, and future fisheries related issues to graduate and undergraduate students currently enrolled in Oklahoma universities.

Cowboy Waterworks                                                                 
This group promotes public awareness and education of the issues water quality and water power; to develop leadership among its members through participation in the branch activities; to compete in ASABE environmental design competition.

Engineers without Borders
This student-led organization is focused on solving issues for people living in developing countries. They perform many engineering-related projects but welcome all majors!

Environmental Science Club "Water Watch"
The purpose of this organization shall be to stimulate interest in Environmental Science on the Oklahoma State University campus; to promote fellowship among students with environmental interests; to promote sound environmental policy at Oklahoma State University; and to provide the opportunity for leadership training among members.

Society of Environmental Scientists
This society aims to promote and advance environmental knowledge, undertake projects that enhance environmental quality, and provide an avenue for Environmental Science Graduate Students and Professionals.

Soil and Water Conservation Club
The purpose of the Soil and Water Conservation Club is to uphold and pursue the conservation of land, water and related resources to meet the needs of present and future generations.

The Wells Project at Oklahoma State
The purposes of The Wells Project are to: 1) Increase awareness at Oklahoma State University and the Stillwater community concerning the global water crisis. 2) Raise funds for Living Water International (LWI) for clean water wells to be drilled.

The Wildlife Society
This professional organization aims to help those studying to enter a career in Wildlife Management.
