Kiamichi River Watershed Symposium

Symposium Description

On June 15, 2016, 35 individuals came together in McAlester, Oklahoma, representing state and federal agencies/organizations, universities, and Tribal Nations, to discuss the ongoing research and extension/outreach efforts in the Kiamichi River Watershed, as well as to outline and prioritize future research and extension/outreach needs for the area. By bringing these groups together, we were able to foster new collaborations and partnerships between academic researchers, state and federal agencies/organizations, and Oklahoma Tribes.
