USGS 104(g), Aquatic Invasive Species and PFAS grants

 

The U.S. Geological Survey, in cooperation with the National Institutes for Water Resources, requests proposals each year for research on topics of national importance for funding through its National Competitive Grants Program. Any investigator at an institution of higher learning in Oklahoma is eligible to apply for these National Competitive Grant through the Oklahoma Water Resources Center.

 

Basic proposal information is due to the water center June 10, 2021, no later than 5:00 p.m. and ALL Proposals/Grants.gov Workspace packages need to be complete by 5:00 p.m. on June 16, 2021.

 

The Oklahoma Water Resources Center (OWRC) is responsible for submitting ALL of the state's proposals to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).

 

Revised Proposal Instructions

For all proposals:

Please submit basic proposal information to Kevin Wagner kevin.wagner@okstate.edu and Hollie Schreiber hollie.schreiber@okstate.edu no later than June 10, 2021.

• Provide Hollie with the Grants.gov username of your sponsored programs contact no later than 5:00 p.m. on June 10, 2021.
• Hollie will create a Grants.gov Workspace package and add your sponsored programs contact.
• Fully route the proposal through your institution's approval process.
• Work with your sponsored programs office to complete the Grants.gov Workspace package according to the instructions in the RFP, no later than 5:00 p.m. on June 16, 2021.
  • Notify Hollie when the Grants.gov Workspace package is complete and ready for submission.
• DO NOT SUBMIT the Grants.gov Workspace package - Hollie will review and submit for you before the USGS June 24, 2021 deadline. Per the RFP, the Grants.gov Workspace can only by submitted by the institution that houses the water center.

For OSU, non-DASNR proposals:
*Full proposal must be complete in Grants.gov by June 16, 2021.

• Fully route the proposal through your institution's approval process.
• Work with your sponsored programs office to create and complete the Grants.gov Workspace package according to the instructions in the RFP, no later than 5:00 p.m. on June 16, 2021.
• Add Hollie (username: hschreib0001) to the Grants.gov Workspace package.
• Notify Hollie when the Grants.gov Workspace package is complete and ready for submission.
• DO NOT SUBMIT the Grants.gov Workspace package - Hollie will review and submit for you before the USGS June 24, 2021 deadline. Per the RFP, the Grants.gov Workspace can only by submitted by the institution that houses the water center.
• Hollie will send you confirmation of submission.

For OSU, DASNR proposals:
*Full proposal must be complete in Grants.gov by June 16, 2021.

• Upon receipt of the basic information due on June 10, 2021, DASNR Sponsored Programs will prepare a routing package, following usual DASNR procedure.
• Proposals will be completed by sponsored programs staff in Grants.gov, according to the instructions in the RFP, no later than 5:00 p.m. on June 16, 2021.
• Sponsored Programs will submit before the USGS June 24, 2021 deadline.
• Sponsored Programs will send you confirmation of submission.
