IWRRI is hiring three full-time research scientists to launch IWRRI into the next phase of serving water research needs in Idaho, the Western U.S and beyond. They invite applications from collaborative and innovative researchers committed to interdisciplinary approaches in water science and management. IWRRI scientists will conduct and coordinate community-identified actionable water research with the opportunity to expand their research agenda by securing extramural competitive grants. Hiring priorities include candidates with expertise in hydrogeology / groundwater modeling, big data analytics, and water quality with interests in co-production of research with a wide range of stakeholders and partners. These positions are housed in IWRRI and are non-tenure track research appointments with no formal teaching responsibilities.
