The University of Arkansas at Monticello College of Forestry, Agriculture and Natural Resources and the Arkansas Forest Resources Center are seeking an individual to contribute to and lead the development of a dynamic hydrology research program in Arkansas forest ecosystems and to educate the next generation of forest and land managers in the mid-South region. There are abundant opportunities to build a hydrology research and teaching program through the diverse forest ecosystems of Arkansas and ongoing collaborations with College/Center faculty and their extramural partners. The College/Center has an equipped hydrology lab that supports this position. Research focus areas within the College/Center include bottomland hardwood ecosystem restoration, waterfowl and wetland forest resiliency under climate variability, spatial modeling of landscape responses to land use change and climate dynamics, and forestry economics and policy. In addition, the College has subunits of the Arkansas Center for Forest Business and Arkansas Forest Health Research Center.
